Pin sorting machines take randomly mixed pins from a vibratory feeder bowl and sort the pins by length and geometry. After determining the pin size/geometry, the machine places the pins into their corresponding bins. One vibratory bowl feeder can feed pins into the checking position. One CCD camera checks the dimensions and profiles of the pin and mechanism with rotation slide transfer the correct pins into the corresponding bins. It applies only to the same diameter of the pins but sort different lengths and geometries.
